Welcome to FCS Summer Soccer Schools at St. Anthony's FC, Kilcoole

For the third year in a row we are delighted to be bringing back our increasingly popular Summer Soccer School to the Sunny South East of Ireland.

We have designed our soccer schools program from years of experience and a combination of excellent standards and fun coaching techniques upheld year on year are the main reasons why our Summer Schools program is going from strength to strength each year.

Our schools are open to both boys and girls aged from 5 all the way up to 15 years old and offer an excellent opportunity for children of all skill levels to keep active and have fun with new friends this summer, while improving their footballing skills as well as learning lots of new ones. 

The Child/Coach ratio that we use ensures that there is time for individual coaching where needed. Participants are coached within small groups of their own age and skill level thus allowing for equal enjoyment for all.

The Football School Week

While it is important that participants learn good footballing techniques, it is more important that they enjoy themselves for the whole week.

The week is structured so that participants warm up adequately in the morning before commencing the fun coaching activities. All groups then play mini tournaments and blitzes in the afternoon.

Coaches Experience

Our coaches are FAI qualified from completing coaching courses, have prior coaching experience at International level with Irelands U17's and have played at a high level of football themselves.

What to bring?

Each participant will receive a football and a water bottle. We ask that each participant should bring the following additional items:

• Football boots
• Shin guards
• Runners
• Rain gear (If the weather is doubtful)
• Healthy packed lunch with plenty of water and some juice
• Kit bag containing a dry towel and spare t-shirt and bottoms
• A baseball cap
• Sun protection

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Eligibility

Soccer Schools are open to Boys and Girls between the ages of 5 and 15 years of age.

Insurance

All Soccer School venues will be covered by Public Liability Insurance but not for personal accident.

Medical Consent form

If a medical consent form has not already been signed by a parent/ guardian of the child attending, he/ she must do so and hand it in to the school co-ordinator on the first day of camp before any activity commences. Copies of the medical consent form will be available on site at the School venue.

Venue

The local co-ordinator is responsible to FCS Soccer Limited for all activities during the soccer school week at his/ her centre. The Head Coach in charge is responsible to FCS Soccer Schools for all coaching activities during soccer school week at his/ her centre.

Conduct

Participants must follow the instructions of the coaching staff in charge. Misbehaviour may result in the participant being suspended from the soccer school and the fee will not be refunded. In the interest of safety, participants are not permitted to leave the soccer school during the soccer school hours without the written consent of a parent/ guardian.

Lost or stolen items

Football Consulting Services or the host club is not responsible for any items lost or stolen during the course of the soccer school.

Weather

Football Consulting Services shall not be held accountable should the soccer school activities be suspended or cancelled due to bad weather. In cases where the weather is deemed bad enough for the coaching activities to be suspended the coaching staff will be available to supervise alternative indoor activities, only if the host club or venue can provide such an indoor facility. In the event of an indoor facility not being available, coaching will be suspended if bad weather conditions persist. The coaches will contact the parent or guardian to advise them should the suspension of coaching activities become necessary. Parents/ guardians will be informed immediately by the Head Coach of the suspension of the soccer school. The coaching staff will of course supervise all children until they have been collected.

Cancellations

All cancellations carry a 20% cancellation fee.

Refunds 

No refunds will be made after the playing kit has been presented to the participants or should the cancellation be notified after the camp has taken place.
